Skybot Software™ provides automation solutions for enterprise systems and is backed by Help/Systems, LLC—the world’s leader in automated operations software for IBM Power Systems servers. Skybot Scheduler was designed by the people at Help/Systems, who used their almost 30 years of job scheduling and automation experience to create a fast, easy-to-use, and affordable job scheduler for Windows, UNIX and Linux servers.

Our Roots

Help/Systems was founded in 1982 when Dick Jacobson began selling a small program he’d written—called Robot/38—that automated job scheduling on the System/38. As the company grew, Help/Systems earned its reputation for functional, reliable software products, coupled with the best customer support in the world. Today, Help/Systems provides the most reliable, robust, and worry-free operation software solutions for the System i.

Our Present

What about the rest of the world? Companies today rely on a combination of platforms—Windows, UNIX and Linux—to run their businesses.

In 2010, we challenged our developers to create a brand new automation solution that would cater to the rest of the world. We combined the wish lists of our customers with the working knowledge of our most seasoned testers. We polled the sales team and customer support staff. We spent our days coding and our nights dreaming of a modern enterprise scheduler that would be fast, easy-to-use, and affordable. The result?
