Installing Skybot Scheduler on Windows Servers
Before You Install
Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements before installing Skybot Scheduler on your Windows server.
Installing Skybot Scheduler
Use the following instructions to download and install the Skybot Scheduler server software onto your Windows Enterprise server.
- Download the setupSkybotScheduler.exe installation file from the Skybot Software Web site.
- Double-click the setupSkybotScheduler.exe file.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to continue the installation.
- The Skybot Scheduler Create Skybot User window displays. Use this window to create a new Windows user named Skybot. Enter a password for the new Skybot user and click Create. Once the password is accepted, click OK to continue installation.
Note: If you are reinstalling Skybot Scheduler over a previous version, you will not see this window.

- The Skybot Scheduler Configuration Manager window displays. You must set up ports for the Skybot Server and Web Server. The installer lets you know if the default ports are available. If a port is not available, enter a new port number and click Test to see if it is available. Once all ports are available, click OK to save the ports and continue installation.

- The Skybot Scheduler Agent Setup Wizard displays. Use this wizard to install the agent software on your Enterprise Server. This lets you include your Enterprise Server as an agent system in Skybot Scheduler.

- Follow the wizard instructions to complete the agent software installation and configuration.
- Once the Skybot Scheduler Agent Setup Wizard completes, follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
After You Are Done
After installation is complete, point a Web browser to the following URL:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8008/
where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of your Enterprise Server.
